New
Business
Our
newest addition to the Food Systems, Inc. family is ITT
Cannon in Santa Ana. We are very pleased that we were
awarded the contract for dining service and catering service
for this 900+ employee facility, and we look forward to
serving the fine employees and associates of ITT Cannon
for many years to come!
Holiday
Catering
We
presented some fantastic holiday events at many of our
accounts. Our staff at Office Depot in Signal Hill served
a Christmas lunch of roasted turkey, baked ham, garlic
mashed potatoes, candied yams, green beans amandine, cornbread
stuffing, and pumpkin pie to 1,000 of our loyal customers.
Our
good friends at U.S. Gypsum in Santa Fe Springs were presented
with a Christmas BBQ Luncheon of Top Sirloin Steaks, Baked
Potatoes with all the fixings , Green Beans with Bacon,
Spring Greens Salad, and Parkerhouse Rolls.
On
New Year's Eve, we presented a special sit-down dinner,
complete with full china, linen, and silver service, tuxedoed
wait staff, red rose centerpieces and red roses for the
ladies, for the hard-working Y2K staff at ADP in San Dimas.
The
night was so much fun, and everyone there, both guests
and FSI staff, had a blast. The menu consisted of a diner's
choice of Beef Tournedos with Bernaise Sauce and Garlic
Red Rose Mashed Potatoes, Cornish Game Hen stuffed with
Wild Rice, Baked Salmon in a Cucumber-Dill Sauce with
Jasmine Rice, or Farfalle Prima Vera in Alfredo Sauce.
The
entree was accompanied by Steamed Winter Vegetables, a
gourmet bread and roll basket, and Martinelli's Sparkling
Cider. For dessert, our ADP guests were treated to Jumbo
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries and their choice of a Lemon
Tart with Key Lime Sauce, a Four-Nut Caramel Torte with
Chocolate Sauce, Tiramisu, or a Chocolate Fantasy Cake
with Raspberry Sauce. All in all, It was quite a setting,
and our guests were treated right!
Additions
Our
corporate catering kitchen, located at the corporate office
in Buena Park, is fully equipped and ready for use. We
plan to expand our "catering only" catering business,
concentrating on steak BBQ's and various luncheon meeting
set-ups.
The
corporate catering kitchen will also allow us more flexibility
when handling the catering needs of our dining center

Ideas
We
are constantly looking for new and inventive promotional
ideas to employ in our dining centers. Please e-mail any

and / or vendors must first visit the corporate office.
We do not allow solicitation directly to our dining center
managers.
Open
House
Food
Systems, Inc. will be hosting an Open House at our corporate
offices in Buena Park on Thursday, May 18th, 2000, from
3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. It
will be a fun event for all of our employees and many
of our clients and vendors. Please make plans to attend!
